Weidmüller has a portfolio of combiner boxes that are specially designed for connection to the Fronius Tauro Eco range of string inverters with 1 MPPT. These products are developed, tested and produced in accordance with IEC 61439-2 and therefore cover all the requirements for installation in a PV system. With up to 10 inputs, these products enable bundling and protecting against overcurrent and overvoltage (type I+II) before they are connected to the inverter.
The combination of Weidmüller combiner boxes and Fronius Taurus Eco inverters particularly advantageous when long cable distances need to be covered. By bundling the strings in the GAK and using a sufficiently large cross-section up to the inverter, the line losses can be minimised.

The inverter manufacturer Fronius therefore offers the option of supplying consumers in the event of a power cut in its Primo GEN24 Plus product range. Weidmüller has developed the appropriate emergency power box to connect the necessary loads quickly and safely if required. The Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus is connected to the emergency power box from Weidmüller. If there is a failure in the grid, this hybrid inverter recognises this condition and activates the connection to the emergency power box.
