Circuit Testing Made Quick and Easy with Weidmuller’s New Disconnect Test Terminal Blocks

Disconnect test terminal blocks are used in many applications where it becomes necessary to tap into electrical circuits for test and control purposes. In order to perform the measurement procedure as quick as possible, the test adapter must be quick and easy to connect, shortening the time the circuit needs to be interrupted.

Together with the appropriate test adapters, Weidmuller’s new WTL 4/2 STB Disconnect Test terminal block makes it possible to open the busbar in the terminal and for the adapter to make contact with a single easy action. This make before break design assures continuous operation of the circuit during the test procedure. With the new WTL 4/2 STB, the order in which disconnect and contact is made is simply determined by the length of the color –coded plastic lug on the test adapters.

The WTL 4/2 STB disconnect test terminal block features a touch-safe design, and the combi-foot makes it suitable for TS-32 and TS-35 DIN-rail mounting. Only a screwdriver is needed to connect the text cable with the test adapter, further simplifying the test procedure. It is UL rated at 300V, 8A and 26-10 AWG.
