WAVE TTA: Universal Signal Conditioner

Weidmuller announces the addition of a new module to their WAVESERIES line of analog signal conditioners – the WAVE TTA (Transmitter Trip Amplifier). This new module provides a unique degree of flexibility, functioning as a signal isolator, transmitter, converter, linearizer and trip amplifier, all in a single unit. The WAVE TTA offers users precision measurement accuracy to meet the diverse and demanding needs of the process industry. The TTA will function accurately over a wide ambient temperature range, and over a wide supply voltage range, and with most types of sensor inputs. For two wire current transmitters, 24 V DC power is provided. Alternatively the TTA can be a passive input for the current source. Most commonly used temperature sensors and DC inputs are accepted, and the TTA also allows the user to define specific characteristics, so special sensor types and linearization can easily be accommodated. |

BLF 5.0x mm Plugs

Weidmuller is pleased to introduce our BLF plugs for 5.00 mm and 5.08 mm pitches. The new BLF plugs utilize Push-In connection technology for a tool free connection. The BLF 5.0x mm joins existing Push-In products in 3.50 and 3.81 mm pitches, which provide customers with a wide variety of termination options in a pluggable connector solution. Our Push-In allows for the fastest and easiest connections in the market with only a 20% reduction in pull out force when compared to a screw connection. These plugs allow you the flexibility of using solid, stranded or ferruled wires. |

MICROOPTO - Solid State Relay

The MICROOPTO line of solid-state relays provides several options for switching and protecting signals. The line features pluggable cross connections and industrial standard marking options, all in a standard terminal block footprint of 6.1mm.
By using opto-coupler technology, this line of devices will have a very long service life without failure or issues such as switching noise and contact bounce. These units are resistant to shock and vibration and, during operation, do not emit electromagnetic noise or switching related sparks. |

Crimpfix 2.5M

Now available, an automated machine that attaches individual reeled-ferrules onto conductors in one step. Like its predecessor, the Crimpfix 2.5, the new Crimpfix 2.5 M performs accurate stripping and crimping ferrules onto conductors in the range of 20 – 14 AWG, in as little as 1.5 seconds per wire. In addition, the new Crimpfix 2.5 M incorporates a simple conversion tool that increases the wire gauge range to 22 AWG (sold separately) and a menu driven display. |
New MultiCard Markers

Weidmuller has expanded the MultiCard marker family by offering the NEW WAD MC 5 and WAD MC 8 terminal markers for use on feed through terminals WDU 2.5, WDU 4, WDU 6, and WDU 10, and end brackets WEW 35/2 or ZEW 35/2. This new format allows the markers to be printed on using Weidmuller’s Print Jet Pro or Print Jet II technology. In addition, our most popular Dekafix and WS MultiCard marker formats for terminal block marking are now available without a project field, allowing for faster installation in strips on terminal block groupings. |

Sensor Actuator Interface Accessories

Weidmuller’s new high flex cables have been designed and tested in C-track applications, where the cable continuously rolls back and forth, over 2100mm at 1.75m/s and an acceleration reaching 50m/s2. The halogen free PUR/PUR cables achieved a rating of 2 million cycles and the standard PUR/PVC cables are rated at 20 million cycles.

Electronic Circuit Protection

The ESX10-T Series circuit protectors have remote reset capabilities that operate through the use of an electronic signal. These circuit protection devices are compact and combine electronic trip characteristics and active current limitation to allow selective disconnection of loads that are connected to 24VDC power supplies. Selective load protection prevents complete shutdown of the system by quickly disconnecting the faulty path when an overload or short circuit occurs. |
